Mid Level Landscape Architect

VIRIDIS Design Group is seeking to add a Landscape Architect to our talented team. We are an award-winning landscape architecture firm with offices in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo Michigan. We are looking for an individual to join our Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo Office who is as passionate as we are about delivering inspirational projects, engaging with the community, and realizing their full potential as a leader in the firm and profession.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

A. Design, Management, & Collaboration

  • Experience designing and managing projects from conceptual design through construction administration.

  • Ability to develop ideas/work independently with input from senior team members.

  • Passion for developing new relationships and business opportunities.

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external team members in developing creative solutions.

  • Perform multiple tasks and support multiple projects concurrently.

  • Knowledge of ordinances, permitting, and the ability to manage construction documentation and construction administration.

 

 

B. Communication

  • Have experience with proposal writing, creating, and maintaining lasting client relationships.

  • Effective written, graphic, and oral communication skills.

  • The capability of communicating design intent through use of hand and computer graphics.

C. Technology

  • Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office, Adobe CC, GIS, and 3D visualization (Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion, etc).

​

 

D. Education, Licensure, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program

  • Licensed Landscape Architect

  • 5-10 years professional experience

Compensation

Commensurate with Experience
